( 8/8/97 ) Friday...................Cloudy Woke up quite late today. After having my scramble egg and toast, and a big glass of coffee, took the Nusa Riverbus to Kuala Trenggan. From Kuala Trenggan, there is a trail to Kumbang Hide, and it just take about 45 minutes walk. A newly-wed couple from South Africa was so excited to tell me that they saw 9 seladangs and 2 tapirs at that very hide! I didn't move on though, rather tired after walking up to Warisan Hill yesterday. Prefer to spare a day to regenerate my energy... Mm..by the way, doesn't it sound romantic to have honeymoon in the rain forest? But then, I am not disappointed at all, because I caught a big fish (can never recognised any species of fish in my life!) at Kuala Trenggan. Encik Burhanuddin is right. This area is a good spot for fishing. In the evening, I challenged myself once in my life time to shoot the rapids from Kuala Trenggan, back to Nusa Camp. Wow! It's so exciting. I am so proud of myself, I never thought that I could ever do such a thing!
