This is a special reference for a one-week-trip, to journey this amazing rain forest.

( 6/8/97 ) Wednesday...................Clear Feeling so excited, just can't believe that I am here in the oldest rain forest in the world!! Haa...were there dinosaurs here before? Am I stepping on the soil of 130 million years old?? Staying in Nusa Camp, it's a good idea to visit the interesting places in the vicinity first! First journey - Abai Waterfall. It's only about an hour's walk along a clear trail. Not too bad for a fit person like me, ha! It's so enjoyable trekking and crossing some gullies. I was already fascinated by the views on the trail before reaching the waterfall. Just couldn't hold myself to snap some photographs. There's a pool at Abai Waterfall, great spot for a swim. It was so refreshing to jump into the water, dive in the pool.... Suddenly, have a special feeling that it's so wonderful to run away from the 20th century traffic and pollution.
