Gua Telinga (Ear Cave)

This is limestone outcrop eroded almost down to ground level. 3 1/2 hour walk from Nusa Camp. 25 minutes by Nusa Riverbus.
Note : Carry a spare torchlight.


Lata Berkoh

A spectacular cascade that marks the limit of easy navigability on the river. There is a deep pool below the cascade, delightful place for swimming. An ideal site for a picnic lunch.
Chartered boat (4 seater at RM80.00 per boat) takes about 1 hour depanding on the river level. 3-5 hours walk from Kuala Tahan or 7 hours walk from Nusa Camp. It makes a pleasant day's walk.
Guest may stay overnight at Berkoh Lodge. Reservation for boat and lodge had to be made direct to Taman Negara office at Kuala Tahan.


Kuala Terenggan/ Bumbun Kumbang/ Kuala Tahan (day trip)

2 hours walk from Nusa Camp to Kuala Terenggan, undulating trail (4.5 km) or 1/2 hour by Nusa Riverbus shooting 4 rapids at RM5.00 per person. Departure at 10.15 am and 3.15 pm.
From Kuala Terenggan 45 minutes to Bumbun Kumbang. Return to Kuala Tahan 12.5 km walk (5/6 hour).
The trail is generally straight and flat with many small stream crossing. From Kuala Tahan take Nusa Riverbus back to Nusa Camp at 6.00 pm.
Note : Guest must be at Kuala Tahan before 6.00 pm in order to catch the last departure of riverbus.


Kuala Keniam/ Kuala Perkai

10 1/2 hours walk from Nusa Camp to Kuala Keniam (19.6 km) and 2 1/2 hours walk from Kuala Keniam to Kuala Perkai (3 km). 8 1/2 hours walk from Kuala Terenggan to Kuala Keniam.
A long trek through remote limestone country. A broad, clear trails beyond Kumbang, running further up the Terenggan Valley. Then across low-lying country past several limestones hills and finnaly out through rolling-hills to Kuala Keniam.
Guest can stay overnight at Kuala Keniam Lodge or at Perkai Lodge. 1/2 hour by Nusa Riverbus to Kuala Terenggan.


Gua Kepayang Besar

Largest cave and most impressive formation. 4 hours walk from Kuala Terenggan. Inside you may see footprint & droppings of elephants.
