The most popular entry point to Taman Negara is Taman Negara Jetty at Kuala
Tembeling, which is situated on Sungai Jelai,18 km from Jerantut. A 50 km
riverboat journey up Sungai Tembeling from the Taman Negara Jetty is the only way
to reach Park Headquarters at Kuala Tahan. There are departures at 9 am and 2 pm
only. There's no need to book in advance, except perhaps during holiday periods.
From Kuala Tahan, the rest of Taman Negara is accessible.
