Tanjung Mentong
Being the main entry point to Taman Negara Terengganu, Tanjung Mentong is strategically located at the narrowest point in the lake before Sungai Cacing, started operation since 1 March 1996.

Tanjung Mentong is accessible from Gawi where the main jetty is located, or the Jenagor Jetty at Hulu Terengganu. Tourists are ferried into the Park by passenger boat operated by the locals.
Most of the visitors consist of anglers who found the lake to be an ideal fishing ground. The basic facilities at the Park include an office/restaurant block, three staff quarters, four chalets and a hostel and camping area for visitors.
Apart from accommodation at Tanjung Mentong, other facilities including a five star chalet, a Federal Rest House, Tourist Information Centre, a floating restaurant and food stalls are located at Gawi and other parts of the lake.

Kuala Koh
The most common visitors' activities at Kuala Koh are fishing and jungle trekking.

Merapoh
The visitors to Merapoh are mainly climbers and recreationists.
