The average visitor can explore the wonders of one of the oldest rain forests in a surprisingly high degree of comfort. Visitors facilities at Kuala Tahan, the Park Headquarters, include a range of accommodation with chalets, hostel and camp site, as well as a couple of floating restaurants right across the Tembeling River, and convenience shops. There are two fishing lodges within the Park, where enthusiastic anglers can stay overnight. Besides, there are five hides (Bumbun Kumbang, Bumbun Belau, Bumbun Yong, Bumbun Cegar Anjing, and Bumbun Tabing) with overnight accommodation.
